Production Log Week 4

What have you contributed this week?

-This week we have done no filming due to an accident at a very inconvenient time.

How does this fit in with the production schedule/job roles/ overall ideas of your project?

-  It doesn't. This was the worst possible time for this to happen. That location was ideal and is now inaccessible to use.

Were there any problems?

- Yes! The location we was going to burnt down due to an electrical fire. It was lucky we wasn't in the building when this occurred but still, we now have not many more ideas on where to film. There was another location Jada found which was a crypt. I was concerned about the structure of the building so Jada then found out we couldn't use it due to the dampness and the fact it was so old, the ceiling could of tumbled down on us.

How did you/ will you overcome your problems?

-  Hopefully by finding another location and  getting permission to use a certain part of the building. Me, Jada and Anthony are going to do some research and searching to find any in the local area and if not, will push the distance out further.

What are your plans for the following week?

-To find a safe and secure location that isn't too far away due to time and to start filming as soon as possible because we should be half way through our scenes now.

Production Log Week 3

What have you contributed this week?

- I was ill for the week so contributed very little, but my group managed to complete and hand in their work which was checked over and approved. Now they have made arrangements when and where to film and edit.

How does this fit in with the production schedule/job roles/ overall ideas of your project?

-  By completing and uploading the documents, we can finally arrange when to film and what to film. The earlier we start, the more time we have to look over the footage and re film even with me behind. Regardless if i'm not in next week, Jada can still film the nurses and Anthony's scenes.

Were there any problems?

- I wasn't in for the week due to an illness. So I couldn't help the group as much as I could but I managed to upload all the work and data that was needed.

How did you/ will you overcome your problems?

-  Whilst on sick-leave, i completed the cast sheets, waivers, e.t.c. that was needed for my group and then I uploaded it on blogger and made Jada aware so she could use it.

What are your plans for the following week?

-  Filming. We hope to travel to the place in Hackney to complete my scenes. Hopefully, it will be a good experience and journey. If i'm still not in, I will work from home on any missing work and hope Jada can do some other scenes without me.

Wavier for cast

Job roles & responsibilities

Job roles and responsibilities.

Jada-
Jada is the editor, director and an actress in this music video. The editor is responsible for editing all the individual shots into scenes and then making this into a story. A director is responsible for creating the vision of the film altogether. Jada is also going to be playing the role of the psychiatrist in our music video ‘Lockdown’ who is going to be in 6 scenes.

Anthony-
Anthony is the cameraman and an actor in this music video. He is going to be filming everything and volunteering to be in charge of the camera so we gave that role to him. He is also going to have a role as well in the music video. He is going to play the security supervisor where he monitors and documents the footage of the whole building.

Taylor-

Taylor is the main actress in this music video. She is going to be playing the lead of ‘Aria DeLaurentis’ who is mentally ill patient at an asylum. The song is based on how she feels and what’s going through her mind. It tells us about her story of how she lost her mind and what happened to her before she was admitted to hospital. Taylor is also going to be the producer and art director. The producer is in charge of making sure the video is overviewed and making sure everything gets completed. The Art Director is in charge of all the props, make-up and costumes.

Production Log Week 2

What have you contributed this week?

This week, we are creating a shooting script for our music video. We are all putting our ideas together now and putting in shots. We take turns with this as we have to write what happening for an individual line. It's difficult and time consuming but hopefully we can get it finished.

How does this fit in with the production schedule/job roles/ overall ideas of your project?

We have to put detail and care into this shooting script because if we rush it, the music video will be poor. Our music video would look so rushed and would be confusing for the viewers because there wouldn't be enough time to figure out what would be happening so we need to focus and keep our heads screwed on.

Were there any problems?

- There wasn't any major problems this week but there were some minorities. Jada was ill on the Monday which left me and Anthony doing the shooting script and to our luck, most of the script didn't save leaving us re-doing it. After we got back to were we was, it wasn't a problem adding to it but seeing as it was Jada's music video we couldn't detail everything, even with the planning script because Jada is a perfectionist and she knows what she wants and how she wants it.

How did you/ will you overcome your problems?

-  I got in touch with her via Twitter and she was telling us how she wanted it laid out and said she would complete more shots at home so eventually we would be back on track again.

What are your plans for the following week?

- Next week, hopefully we would of finished and updated the shooting script and we all should be prepared to start filming the music video.
